MOSCOW, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has won the right to develop two oil and gas condensate fields, Choron Yuryakh and Ozerny, in the Yakutia republic with bids of 1.232 million rubles and 1.136 million rubles respectively, an official of the Federal Mineral Resources Agency told PRIME on Monday.
Choron Yuryakh has prospective resources of 0.05 million tonnes of oil under the D1 category, 1.5 billion cubic meter (bcm) gas resources and 0.5 million tonnes of condensate ones. Ozerny has 0.05 million tonnes of oil, 1 bcm of gas and 0.1 million tonne condensate resources.
Gazprom competed for the fields with Yakutsk Fuel and Energy Company (Yatec) and Yakutia-Gaz.
